Bentley considering diesel engines

According to Bentley CEO, Wolfgang Durheimer, future models may be powered by diesel technology. We reported previously that he is a diesel enthusiast, who confirmed the use of hybrid technology, and suggested that diesel-powered vehicles are a possibility.

He said to a media outlet; “The next generation of diesels will be hard to distinguish from petrol engines,”.

“I think that will be good enough for Bentley, so this type of engine is getting interesting for us. I do have resistance to this from inside the company, but I will overcome it.”
