According to a eyewitness, the unnamed woman, who “races cars for a living”, stopped at a Chevrolet outlet looking for a more powerful car. Disappointed with the forecourt, she drove to a nearby Ferrari dealership for a test drive.
The witness told reporters that “something happened at the Ferrari dealership”, causing the woman to get angry and race off in her Corvette, only to lose control seconds after and hit a pole. The woman hit two other cars, causing herself and one person injury.
