Ford has begun testing the facelifted Fiesta out in public for the very first time.
Spied in Northern Sweden, the prototype sports extensive use of fake body panels up-front, hiding most details. Despite this, we anticipate a new trapezoidal grille and tweaked fog-lights surrounds.
Furthermore, the revised headlights boast LED daytime running lights.
Our spy photographer managed to catch a shot of the log book which clearly displays the engine type as 1.0 GDI. This confirms that Ford will be introducing their EcoBoost technology to the Fiesta line-up. This particular prototype is housing a British-engineered 1.0 litre, triple-pot engine that generates 80bhp (81PS/59kW).
Expect to see the world debut of the 2013 Ford Fiesta at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
