Leaked: 2013 Renault Clio IV

Leaked images of the all-important Renault Clio IV have surfaced onto the web via Renault Ireland.

Boasting the firm’s new distinct design language, previewed by numerous concepts, the new Clio IV features lots of curves and creases, with large headlight clusters, chrome window line, and hidden rear door handles lending a more dynamic and sportier look.

Although no interior photos were published, we expect improved interior quality along with a more defined and emotional design. The dashboard will be available to order in red, black, brown or white at no extra cost.

A new multimedia system, called R-Link, will be fitted on more expensive grades and will eventually be fitted on other Renault models.

The Clio 4 will also feature two new turbocharged engines - the 0.9 TCe, a three-cylinder with 89bhp (90PS/67kW) and 135 Nm (100lbs-ft) of torque, and the 1.2 TCe, which will offer 113bhp (115PS/84kW), and a revised 1.5 dCi. These will be mated to either a manual or new dual-clutch transmission.

The fourth installment of the Clio is scheduled to greet the public at the Paris Motor Show this September.
