Spied: 2013 Citroën C3

Citroën has begun testing the Brazilian-market C3 supermini.

Although the second-generation C3 has been available globally since late 2009, the French marque still sells the first-generation post-facelift C3 in Brazil.

Changes to the C3 will be borrowed off the larger C3 AirCross and will include new bumpers, a short chevron grille between the headlights, and bumper-integrated LED daytime running lights - the latter expected on the global C3 facelift when it launches in 2014.

Cabin alterations will be drastic when compared to European models, with circular air vents, revised centre console, and a new steering wheel featuring.

Powertrains and transmissions will be lifted out of the C3 AirCross when sales start in late 2012.
