Images of the Focus RS have leaked onto the web, 6 weeks ahead of its world debut at the London motorshow.
The 300bhp/280PS hot hatch sports a bright green paint job, with black accents on the mirrors, spoilers, diffuser and the leading edge of the bonnet.
The Ford Focus RS will bring genuine 150mph performance and 0-60mph in 6 seconds when it goes on sale in the UK early next year.
The new RS will take the basic Focus ST elements of a 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive and develop them further with a new Quaife gearbox.
Pricing is likely to be below £25k and Ford hopes to sell between 5000 - 7000 units per year.
