Chrysler has confirmed that it will kill-off the wacky Dodge Nitro SUV by year's end, despite sales increasing 20% this year. Chrysler will continue to manufacture the Nitro in Autumn but the vehicles will be marketed as 2011 models.
Until December, the only trim-level that will be offered is the R/T, that will feature sports suspension and a 4.0 litre V6 petrol engine.
A replacement is yet to be confirmed, although Dodge will have a white gap between its $20k - $29k models in its line-up.
