Bugatti holds Galibier 16C

According to an American media outlet, Bugatti/Bentley CEO, Wolfgang Durheimer is delaying the Galibier 16C in a pursuit for perfection. An internal source within VAG says Durheimer wants the production Galibier 16C to have more power, space, and comfort when it goes on sale.

The source added the car should be at the very top of every segment so “billionaire buddies” can talk about its merits without reservation and should be an “argument stopper”.

“Right now, it's definitely not enough [power] and it needs more space and comfort, especially in the rear,” says the unnamed source. “It's 800 horsepower now, but there are tuners today who can give you that and we don't want our car to be involved in any discussion that involves tuners, so we have to move the benchmarks.”
