According to Thomas Weber, technical executive for Mercedes, the marque make be considering a electric variant of the S-Class flagship sedan.
“At the moment, we are looking at customer demand,” he said.
The forthcoming S-Class will arrive with a range of powertrains including the default MoVe petrol and diesel engines, petrol hybrid, and plug-in hybrid. While the same rear-wheel-drive set up will be standard across the range, 4Matic four-wheel-drive variants will be offered, and for the first time will be available in right-hand-drive markets like the UK, Australia, Ireland, Pakistan, India, and Hong Kong etc.
