Suzuki set to unveil D-Segment competitor

The Kizashi concept provides strong clues as to the future midsize sedan that Suzuki plans to launch in early 2009 in North America and other global markets. The new mid-sized sedan will be officially been unveiled at the Frankfurt Motorshow in September. When the car reaches production it will rival against the Ford Mondeo, Honda Accord, Vauxhall Vectra, Renault Laguna, Mazda6 etc in the European market.

To be built in Japan, the new four-door is a larger companion to the SX4 sedan. It will be joined by a new midsize wagon and is expected to replace the Korea-built Forenza.
