Photo Gallery: 2012 Peugeot 308 facelift

The Peugeot 308 facelift has made its first appearance in Switzerland, before going on sales across Europe.

The reworked 308 now features lower CO2 emissions and better fuel economy, with PSA's mini-hybrid system 'e-HDi' with stop/start emitting 98g/km, according to the carmaker.

All three bodystyles; hatchback, sports wagon, and CC has been revised, along with four new trim-levels; entry-level Access, lower-mid spec SR, higher mid-spec Active, and the range-topping Allure. A 1.6 THP petrol engine developing 200bhp (197PS/149kW) will be available exclusively on the CC in a single trim-level called GT.

The base Access comes with 16” alloy wheels, x4 electric windows, x6/x8 airbags (hatch, CC/SW), daytime running lights, air conditioning, and ESP.

Prices for the Peugeot 308 start from £15,245 with order books opened now.
